Service & Shipping Policy

MedRec is currently offered as an independent application by its developer, based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and is not yet operated through a separately registered company. In this document, “MedRec,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the developer(s) who operate the MedRec app and the medrecapp.com website.

Overview

MedRec is a digital personal health record app and doctor-consultation booking service. We do not sell or ship any physical goods, so there is no physical shipping involved in using MedRec. This policy explains how access to our digital services is delivered instead.

Delivery of app access

The MedRec app and web platform are delivered digitally. When you create an account, you get immediate access to the Individual plan. If you upgrade to the Family plan, the additional features (unlimited family profiles, encrypted cloud sync, and the Record Assistant) are activated on your account automatically once payment is confirmed — there is nothing to download separately and nothing physical is mailed to you.

Delivery of doctor consultations

Doctor consultations are booked directly in the app and paid for through our payment partner, Gopayfast. Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation in-app and/or by email with the appointment date, time, and doctor. The consultation itself is “delivered” as a live audio or video call at the scheduled time, through the app.

Service availability

MedRec is built primarily for patients and doctors in Pakistan. Some features (uploading, scanning, and viewing your own records) work fully offline on your device. Features that involve syncing, sharing, booking, or payment require an active internet connection.

Delays or technical issues

If a scheduled doctor consultation cannot take place because of a technical issue on our side (for example, the in-app call fails to connect), contact us and we will help you reschedule the appointment or process a refund in line with our Refund & Return Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Service & Shipping Policy from time to time as the app evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes.
